Register for OSSF London here to join FINOS Members, Projects and SIGs at the FINOS Member Meetings, alongside speakers such as Russell Green - Deutsche Bank Managing Director, Beeke-Marie Nelke - Goldman Sachs Vice President and Attila Mihaly - Morgan Stanley Vice President at OSSF.

Also, don't forget to register for the FINOS Member Meetings and OSSF New York on November 9th and 10th and that FINOS member employees can attend both the FINOS Member Meetings and OSSF for FREE in either location.

The FINOS Open Source Strategy Forum is the only conference dedicated to driving collaboration and innovation in financial services through open source software and standards. We bring together experts across financial services, technology, and open source to engage our community in stimulating and thought-provoking conversations about how to best (and safely) leverage open source software to solve industry challenges.

Monday, September 13th

  • 9:30am ET / 2:30pm BST. KDB Project call

    • The purpose of the kdb+ project is to curate common standards, tools, and libraries to facilitate collaborative development, ease artifact reuse, and improve usability and administration of kdb+ software in enterprise deployments.

  • 10am ET / 3pm BST.  Product Control Common Template project

    • The Product Control Common Template project initiative is looking to: construct a common template data model using Legend Studio (an approved open sourced data modelling tool that allows users to create data models in a graphical user interface). This common template data model will include all the attributes that each vendor is required to run their valuation process and return the consensus data to the banks.

  • 11am ET / 4pm BST. FINOS InnerSource Special Interest Group

    • The FINOS InnerSource Special Interest Group is a community of people implementing, or interested in implementing, InnerSource within their financial services organization.

Tuesday, September 14th

  • 10am ET / 3pm BST. Currency Reference. Data Work Stream Meeting

    • The objective of this project is to create a standard object to represent currency data and create a central cloud based repository of the currency data.

  • 12pm ET / 5pm BST  FINOS Regulation Innovation SIG (monthly meeting)

    • The FINOS Regulation Innovation Special Interest Group (SIG) is a community of people interested in creating open source solutions for regulatory and compliance issues in financial services.

Wednesday, September 15th

  • 11am ET / 4pm ET BST  FINOS Office Hours - Your FINOS Questions Answered

    • FINOS Office Hours are hosted by Director of Community James McLeod to answer FINOS questions and help people join / start contributing to FINOS.

Thursday, September 16th

  • 12pm ET / 5pm EST. FINOS DevOps Mutualization Special Interest Group

    • The DevOps Mutualization Special Interest Group (SIG) aims to solve common engineering problems by providing a continuous compliance and assurance approach to DevOps that mutually benefits banks, auditors and regulators whilst accelerating DevOps adoption in engineering and fintech IT departments.
