Description

Griffin Taper Mounts interface with RECCE, Paladin®, EXPLORR®, Sportsman, Optimus®, and Bushwhacker® series silencers. (Revolution and Resistance® series compatibility with appropriate adapters) 

Constructed of 17-4 PH stainless steel, the Taper Mount EZ-Brake™ features 6 radial slots which provides effective recoil mitigation. The Taper Mount EZ-brake™ weighs 2.0 ounces, making it one of the lightest mounts available for the Taper Mount Interface. The lighter weight reduces suppressor system weight while making the host firearm barrel lighter and more responsive to the shooter. The EZ-Brake™ does not require timing and will interface with a 13/16" standard socket wrench for installation. Taper Mount Thread Protector is compatible with this muzzle device for added protection of thread mounts.

    With this device and the thread protector (sold separately), this device is not necessarily the most pleasing to the eye mounted on my 10/22 TD Stainless. That said, the taper mount makes exchanging the can a sinch.

    Slapped this on a henry x model in 45 colt. Absolutely no recoil even with +p ammo. Now to go after the bushwhacker

    Works like it’s supposed too. So far no complaints about Griffin Armament. Customer service has been fantastic for me and products have been better than I expected.

    Easier than your high school gym teacher

    Man, nothing is easier than the EZ brake. It's so effective, I bought 4 - one for each of the wheels on my car! The name "EZ brake" says it all, and it's so easy, they dropped two whole letters. But does it work? You bet it does. I mean it's maybe not quite as effective as the aptly-named "Paladin", but the Paladin only works better when you're not suppressed, and who the heck runs unsuppressed? Do you not love cans? Do you not love yourself? Well, good news: the EZ brake is all about promoting your self-love, and you'll find new depths to your own personality when you're able to couple your can to the business end of your longboi with a mere twist of your fingers. I've used a lot of brakes, a lot of cans, had the brakes put on many cans, and I can tell you with full confidence that this is a phenomenal mounting system, a great sacrificial baffle, a 'pretty good' actual brake (seriously? we're worried about whether this works as a brake?), doesn't require any timing (it takes like thirty seconds to install), and it will literally make you more popular with members of all the genders. All 54 of them. Stay safe, stay strapped, stay suppressed, and never, ever, ever use protection. Ear protection. Get your mind out of the gutter.

    This is my 3rd EZ mount in addition to several of the minimalist mounts that I own. These are great, easy to install with no timing required. They actually do a relatively good job as a brake as well. I paired these with my Recce 5 and with an Explorr blast shield and think they perform great.

    Very well made & precision piece. Threads on very secure. Checked bore alignment after install & found it to be exact with no variance.

    Works great for my . 338 win mag. It has the 11/16-28 thread on it. Threads up nice and works perfect on my sportsman
